What are you timing? How long will it take?

So, what is Count BotTimer?
Can't find that pesky kitchen timer? Misplaced that devious cooking counter? Count BotTimer is an online timer for timing all manner of stuff. You can time how long your pizza will take to cook, or how long your coffee will take to brew, but best of all it's free and is tried, tested and fully compatible with all browsers.
How does it work?
The timer runs using JavaScript, a cross browser and cross platform lightweight script that allows the timer to be run quickly and efficiently. JavaScript can be implemented across the web so the timer can be included on web sites and web pages at will, being stylised using HTML and CSS.

The original source code consists of three files: an index page to view the timer; an optional CSS page to stylise the timer; and a JavaScript document to run the timer. All can be customised and used in accordance to the terms and conditions. It is also recommended that you do not edit the JavaScript file without taking backup copies and without prior knowledge of writing JavaScript.

If you would like to embed or install Count BotTimer on your web site, you can download the source code by clicking here.
What about using the timer offline?
If you are offline or want to use the timer whilst not being connected to the internet then you can download the timer as a desktop widget for your Mac (10.4.0 or later).

We are currently working on introducing a Windows platform timer as well, though if you can't wait then you can download the original web site source code and simply run the timer as an offline web site on your desktop. For more information on this process, refer to the "How does it work?" section.
But how come this is free?
This was started as a personal project by Oliver Hepworth-Bell as a practice excersise in developing his JavaScript capabilties. As the project went on, it developed and grew into a small web site offering free web timers for public use. This timer is free to use, but all downloads must remain in accordance with the terms and conditions.
